Description

Pochard benefits from two double en-suite bedrooms and a comfortable lounge/diner and kitchen area.

Pochard has the added benefit of being dog friendly so make sure to add your furry friend to the booking. The owner also reserves the right to bring their dogs with them to stay.

This property has a put-up bed in the lounge area that can accommodate one guest, if you would like to use this you will need to provide your own bedding.

Inside


There is a newly decorated open-plan lounge/dining with a table and chairs to accommodate four guests. Two sets of double doors lead to the outside balcony. Modern kitchen fully equipped to accommodate four guests.

The first of two bedrooms is the master double bedroom with an en-suite shower room that has a rail to help accessibility in and out of the shower. Double doors from the bedroom open out onto the balcony overlooking Swillbrook Lake with an armchair in the corner of the room the perfect spot to relax and take in the views of the apartment.

There is a further double bedroom and en-suite shower room. The owners of Pochard stay at the property regularly themselves so great attention to the property has been taken to enhance your stay, with handmade and locally sourced wardrobes in each bedroom. 

Outside


Pochard has a 30ft private balcony decking facing west and overlooking Swillbrook Lake and Nature Reserve. Dining for four is provided for your comfort.

House & Estate Rules:   

 

  • Quiet hours are observed after 11pm, we aim to maintain a peaceful and respectful environment for all residents and guests. 
  • Hen and stag parties, including any related activities, are not allowed on the estate premises
  • Work related stays for any purpose are not permitted on the estate
  • All our properties are non-smoking.
  • Upon departure, kindly ensure that the premises are left in a clean and orderly manner, with all furniture returned to its original position and rubbish removed. There are bin stores located around the estate.
  • A £250 refundable damage deposit is due the week before your arrival. You will be contacted regarding this.
  • Please utilise the one parking space provided at the property. Additional parking is available at the main car park if needed. Please do not park in the bays assigned to other properties.
  • This property is pet friendly. Only one dog is allowed.

        Really nice estate, our apartment had a view across a nature reserve lake which was lovely. There is a beaver reserve but we didn’t see any sign.

        This is our 3rd stay and we found the court bookings quite frustrating. Some people book up all the slots so it needs policing more by the site. Pool busy but still kept clean & tidy.

        So impressed with Lower Mill estate. Everywhere feels so well kept and looked after. All the staff are friendly and we couldn't fault our stay. The spa pools although basic were perfect for us and our 2 children (6 and 10) and the changing rooms were always clean. All the staff at the activity hub were friendly and helpful, booking some of the activities felt quite expensive, but worth it for us. The food at the restaurant was fantastic - but please invest in some air conditioning! It was unbearably hot and I don't know how the staff managed to work in the heat.
