Please note:-
This property has been blessed to have been chosen by house martins who tend to return each summer to the outside areas of The Mallows and call it their home.
All bird nests are protected by the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, making it an offence to destroy or take an active bird nest or the eggs inside. It is also illegal to block the birds access to a nest. The House martin is a UK red-listed bird, making it of conservation concern.
During this nesting period our team does our best to keep the external areas clean but please be aware that you will likely see activity from these birds during your stay if staying over the summer months
You might even spot one of the chicks peeking out, waiting for a snack from mum or dad during that period
The kitchen offers an excellent range of cupboards with many built-in appliances including a single oven, gas hob, microwave, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, and complimentary granite work surfaces. Well equipped for six guests. Nespresso coffee machine.

Have tried to get into Spa every time I've stayed at Lower Mill and have never been able to book myself in - total waste of time. Restaurant is just too expensive. The little shop has become smaller over the last few years and need to go out to the local Tesco to get last minute supplies - shame as this is the last thing you want to do when on holidays.

Did not use spa or activity hub. Having to line up and wait for slot in the pool was unnecessary
